The Marloe Movement

This September, Platte County is shining gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and behind that gold is a little girl whose story we want to spread!

Marloe was the youngest of three sisters. At just 11 months old, she was diagnosed with an aggressive childhood cancer that had already spread to her lungs.

For 223 days, Marloe fought.

She endured major surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, hospital stays and countless moments that no child should ever have to experience. Her sisters watched their baby sister fight a battle that ultimately could not be won.

On July 7, 2024, Marloe passed away at just 18 months old.

Today, her sisters are growing up here in Platte County without their baby sister beside them. They will grow up remembering the little girl who should have been there for birthdays, holidays, school days, milestones and all of the special moments that families spend together.

But Marloe’s story did not end when her life did.

Her mom created The Marloe Movement to carry her light forward through childhood cancer awareness, supporting local families facing a childhood cancer diagnosis and helping fund research for better treatments and more options for children like Marloe.

This shirt is a small way to be part of something much bigger. We are donating 100% of the proceeds to The Marloe Movement.

When you wear it, you are helping keep Marloe’s name in our community. You are helping start conversations about childhood cancer. You are helping support families who are walking through the kind of nightmare Marloe’s family knows all too well.

Marloe may not have gotten the chance to grow up in Platte County, but her light can.
